The Constitution of the United States:
The most important document that your student body can and should learn about is The Constitution of the United States.
It is the reason for our success as a society and why so many make great sacrifices to come to our country and make this land their "home". Yet many young people know little, if anything, about this great document. Using magic, audience participation and light humor Jeff, and his wife Pam, will teach students the importance of 'constitutional ideals' as well as highlight the main parts of this document. Like the art of magic, if we don't know our rights as Americans, they can 'disappear' before our very eyes.

Drug Awareness- "The Anti-Drug":
One of the most pervasive problems that face our youth and society today is the abuse of drugs and alcohol. Using magic, comedy and audience participation Jeff and Pam address the pitfalls and misconceptions (aka) lies of drug/alcohol abuse, but also they provide concrete steps to avoid situations that lead to this behavior. Jeff teaches solutions on how to deal with peer pressure and the strong influence of mass media and how this conflict plays out in the lives of our youth.

Conflict happens everyday. Learning the skills necessary to deal with conflict will enable students to be more successful in their life choices. Jeff and Pam will incorporate 'proven techniques' through comedy and role playing with your students. The results of adopting these techniques can provide opportunities for dialogue and peaceful resolutions.
Just for Fun:
Laughter is the best medicine. Over 30 years of entertaining 'kids of all ages' throughout the United States has put Jeff in great demand. Utilizing comedy and audience participation, Jeff's antics and talents create a fun respite from the daily grind. This type of assembly program can be presented as a 'reward' for a school project, community fundraiser or other event.

Dear Schools,
We hosted Jeff Martin at Edmonds Elementary School for an assembly. Jeff is a magician who combines his skills and love of magic with learning. Specifically, Jeff presented an assembly on the magic of science for our K-6 grade students.
The assembly was very engaging. The students and staff appreciated the variety of magic presentations he accomplished during the 45 minute assembly. Jeff's delivery was enthusiastic and it connected with all students. The students were eager to volunteer and participate in the assembly. While performing, Jeff made connections between magic and science. He focused on different themes of science including physical and chemical reactions. He explained the "magic" behind science and how learning is fun, informative, and engaging.
He provided all of his own props and materials. We provided the space and the audience. He was easy to work with and a pleasure to host. Students left the assembly wondering about science and also magic.

Dear Mr. Martin,
Thank you so much for performing at Terrace Park School. You were available during the week of state testing and so we scheduled an after school assembly. We weren't sure how many students would stay since it was after school but the house was packed with over two hundred students and parents as well. Students loved watching you and your interactive magic tricks. They are still talking about the tricks. A parent caught me in the hall the next day to say how wonderful to learn science while enjoying magic.

Letter of Recommendation for Jeff Martin
I would like to thank Jeff Martin on behalf of National Geographic Learning for his creativity and high level of service during our recent education conference events. We had the pleasure of working with Jeff in preparing for and implementing two of our largest trade shows of the year; the National Science Teachers Association Annual Conference in Boston, and the International Reading Association Annual Conference in New Orleans.
